Crate Engines

A Crate engine in our perspective would be a brand new engine coming straight from the Audi Dealerships. Crate engines are more expensive than remanufactured engines, but they’re guaranteed to be in OEM condition and have a factory warranty. A crate engine will have the same lifespan as the engine in a car just rolling off the assembly line. Therefore Crate will be the best long-term solution for customers who plan to keep their car for as long as possible.

Rod Bearings

Rod bearings are a typical wear item on certain high revving engines. If the rod bearings are not replaced by a certain mileage you could suffer the possible consequences of a catastrophic engine failure. During replacement, we recommend a high-performance aftermarket option to prolong bearing life and reduce friction allowing your engine to function at a higher rate while still being smooth as possible, track your bearing wear with regularly used oil analysis and plan on the rod bearing replacement sometime in your engine’s future.
